A bit of technical stuff...

Changing websites is more complicated than I expected!

Hello Wix subscribers! While it might not be obvious to you, I have had multiple ways to contact people who are interested in seeing what I write about health and the environment. Unfortunately, I haven't been so great at managing these lists (although I'm learning!), and this has resulted in multiple messages for some.

To make it worse, I've recently switched to a different web host (from Wix site to Wordpress) because Wix's free level that I've been using for 6 years will no longer allow me to post images on my blogs (and it's so much more interesting with pictures!). This has resulted in the multiple sign-up options that may have been plaguing my potential readers (without me realizing it!) It's time to fix this!

In the blogging world, an email list is highly recommended as the best way to stay in contact with those who are interested in what you do. Site memberships are more difficult to manage and, for readers, it can be more difficult to unsubscribe when you're tired of reading or overwhelmed with emails!

So, I will be turning off notifications directly from this site, my old Wix host site, and will soon stop posting here. If you're getting my emails, and aren't getting multiple notifications of new posts, you don't need to do anything. Hopefully, I won't be bothering you with multiple messages any more, but send me an email if I do, please! I usually send one email on Friday mornings and never more than one a week, although lately it's been more like once a month...

The red "Join my Email List" button on the upper right of the screen still works so, if this is the only notification you receive and you still want to hear from me from time to time, click HERE or up there to join the email list I will be using exclusively from now on.
